After School Arts Program (A.S.A.P.)

 

A.S.A.P. and Girls Making Moves*

Our after school arts program offers an art class each day in various forms of drum and dance from around the world. Classes are at 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. In addition, we have tutoring and homework help available from 5 to 6 pm each day. We welcome the girls from Masterpiece Academy, and their director Penny Blackwell, who have joined our after school arts program.

CLASS FEES (students must be registered in program)

$8 per class to drop in or $20 per month per class

$50 per month for unlimited

  1. Tuesdays at 4 pm - Modern Egyptian Dance
  2. Wednesdays at 4 pm - Polynesian Dance
  3. Thursdays at 4 pm - West African Djembe

Roots, Rhythm and Rhyme

Roots, Rhythm and Rhyme is an exciting program of rhythm exploration for middle school boys that combines West African, Latin and Bucket percussion with percussive dance, spoken word, visual arts and studio recording. Contact us about bringing this unique program to your school!
